Question:
One client has 3 projects in different locations or in different states which have different climatic conditions. Client has formed one PMO in each location and want to go for GlobalGAP Certification for Mango under option 2. Is it possible for the client to go for certification of Mango under 3 separate projects as the locations are totally different or does him have to club all the 3 different/separate PMO groups in one project and then go for the certification?
Answer:
If the three PMOs are different legal entities they can be certified independently, obtaining one different certificate each PMO. But if the three groups constitute one single PMO, the certification will have be done only for that legal entity, regardless the distance between the groups and that the climatic conditions are different. Remark: It is not possible that one producer group with its QMS is composed of smaller groups with different QMSs. The QMS must be one.
